Science

Science is very important in our life .It makes our life easy and better . Scientists do a lot of   experiments . They invent new inventions . My  favourite subject is science . I’d like to be a scientist when I grow up . 

Oil

Kuwait has a lot of oil . It’s black . It’s very expensive . It’s found under the ground .It’s exported to  other countries. It’s made into petrol. We need petrol for our cars. 

The Life Straw

The life straw is a great invention . It’s made of plastic . It’s easy to use . It’s used for purifying the dirty water. It has chemicals inside . The chemicals stop the bacteria from getting inside the mouth.  

Saving Energy

Energy is very important in our life.We can’t live without it . A lot of people waste energy . All of us   should save energy . We should turn off the lights when we go out . We should turn off the TV and the AC .We should use the energy- saving light bulbs .

Failaka Island

Last week, I went to Failaka Island . I went with my family . We went by boat . We saw the temples . We visited the museum . We had a nice day there.

Marie Curie

Marie Curie was a great scientist . She studied Maths and physics . She won two Nobel prizes She found a cure for cancer . She saved many lives . She died of cancer .       

Al-Khawarizmi

Al-Khawarizmi was a great scientist .He was born in Khawarizm .He lived in Baghdad .  He was the father of algebra .He was interested in geography . He made the map of the world.

              Thanks for your last e-mail . I’m writing this e – mail to tell you about my favourite sport. My favourite sport is tennis . I play it in the club . I need a racket and a net to play it . I always play with my friends . We  play it twice a week .It’s good for heart and muscles .

Kuwait

Kuwait is my country . It lies on the Arabian Gulf . It’s a small country . Kuwait City is the capital . The weather is very hot in summer and cold in winter . There a lot of interesting places and malls there . I love Kuwait .

Holiday

Last summer , I went to Turkey . I went with my family . We went by plane . We took a lot of photos . We bought nice presents for our friends .We had a very nice time there .

Water Cycle

Water gets into the sky and goes back to the earth again. First, the sun heats water. Then, water changes into water vapour. After that, the water vapour changes into clouds by the cool air. Finally ,the clouds fall as rain. We can’t live without water.

The Light Bulb

The light bulb is an important invention . It gives us light . It is very cheap . It was invented by Thomas Edison. We should use the energy  saving light bulbs .  They use less energy .

Hicham EL Guerrouj was a very fast runner . He was the best runner in the world . He comes from Morocco . He won many times . He was called “ King of Mile “ because he was good at running . He should be on a stamp .
