Trees
The importance of tree
Trees are very important. They are called “Green Gold“. They give us shade from the sun. Trees provide us with food such as fruit and vegetables. They give us oxygen. It makes the air cleaner and healthier.
A tree is a great blessing. We should plant more trees. We should not cut down them. We should encourage people to save trees. It will save our world!
Al Khiran
Going to Al Khiran
Last week, I went to Al Khiran. I went with my friends. We went by car. On the way, we ate some snacks. We reached there in the afternoon.
We went diving to enjoy watching the coral reefs. After that, we walked along the beach. Then we had our lunch at the restaurant. The food was delicious. In the evening, we played beach volleyball. We were very happy.
Communication
Communication is very important. All of us have ideas, feelings and opinions. We need to share them with others. We also want to know more about the world around us. The way we communicate has been changing throughout ages.
In the past, people communicated orally. Later they learnt to carve and paint on stones. Nowadays, we communicate through the internet, TVs, radios, etc. New technology has improved our communication. It has become easier and better. We can communicate with our family and friends even they are miles away!
Brain Power
The human brain is the boss of the body. It controls everything in the body. It is made up of about 100 billion neurons. The brain has three main parts. They are cerebrum, cerebellum and the brain stem.
Our jellylike brain has to be protected. This happens in three ways. The skull is very hard and strong. The brain floats in fluid. There is tissue around the fluid.
Animals Migration
Some animals migrate every year. They travel to different places to look for food and warmth. They also search for a place to have their young. Animals migrate by following the sun, stars and moon. Some birds use famous landmarks to know their destinations.
Penguins migrate by swimming. Grey whales travel to both cold and warm water. They go to cold water for food. Grey whales travel to warm water to have their young. Arctic terns travel one million km during their lifetime.
Helping the World
Everyone should care about the world around them. We should work together to keep our world safe. We should learn more about the three Rs. The three Rs represent the words “Reduce, Reuse and Recycle”. We should do our best to apply them.
We can reduce energy use by turning off lights. We can also use energy-saving light bulbs. We can reuse old things. We should recycle old materials. We should raise awareness about our world. Our world is a gift. We have to save it!
Creativity
Creativity is the ability to invent or imagine something new. Everyone is creative. We all have a lot of ideas. We should work hard to act on them. There are a lot of ways to be creative.
We can evolve something that already exists. We can also combine two different ideas to create a new one. In addition, we can find a new use for things. Concerning our problems, we should have a positive attitude to solve them. We should exercise our brain well and read a lot of books.
Thomas Edison
Thomas Edison was a famous inventor. He was also an engineer. He invented many useful machines. Edison was very clever. He loved experiments.
Edison invented the first machine for playing music. He also invented the cinema. He greatly improved the light bulb and the telephone. I’d like to be a famous inventor in the future.
The Internet
The Internet is a modern invention. It is one of the best ways of communication. The Internet is full of information. You can surf useful websites. You can chat with your friends, too.
Many people can get important information about different things. You must keep away from harmful websites. The Internet helps me do my homework.
The Astronomer
The astronomer studies astronomy. He knows everything about the universe. He uses telescope. He observes stars, planets and the Moon.
He predicts the weather. His job is interesting and useful. The astronomer helps people. I’d like to be an astronomer in the future.
